Embedded GIF does not show transparency

Using Access 2000, Windows 98 ( still ! )

As the subject says, I've got the BackStyle attribute of
an Image control set to transparent, but while the GIF
shows itself as having a transparent background when used
in VB6, or displayed in Photo Editor, the image is
rendered in an opaque manner when displayed in an Access
Form.

Can I resolve this one somehow ?

Thanks in advance for anyone with good ideas !

Thanks ... as it turns out I found the very same link in
MSDN support later on - thanks again for your response. I
tried it and it worked first time. Now the invoice entry
program at work has the new letterhead's logo splashed
across the line item entry area so users can see where
they can and can't type. Life is good!
