Not getting transparency in an embedded GIF in an Image Control

Using Access 2000, Windows 98 ( still ! )

As the subject says, I've got the BackStyle attribute of
an Image control set to transparent, but while the GIF
shows itself as having a transparent background when used
in VB6, or displayed in Photo Editor, the image is
rendered in an opaque manner when displayed in an Access
Form.

Can I resolve this one somehow ?

Thanks in advance for anyone with good ideas !

I found the solution myself via MSDN Support search - in
case anyone else is curious/desperate too, here it is ...

- insert the gif into Word, from there copy to clipboard,
go to Access, paste into form, go to Format/Change To
option to change the unbound OLE control into an Image
control, then set its backstyle attribute to transparent -
now why didn't I think of that !

Don't you love a happy ending ???
