Emails in BCM -Shared Database - what happens if Outlook file is not available

hy,
I'm thinking about this:
email ist stored in personal outlook file and only created in BCM
database, if deleted in outlook.
what happens, if I share my BCM database so other users can access and
link emails to BCMcontacts. Let's say Anna links an email from her
inbox to a BCM contact. Now Annas PC is down, because she's on
holiday.(and the emai has not been deleted in Outlook, so there is no
copy in BCM database). Can I access this email? Or what else will
happen?

Need to install BCM for 10users and facing this problem now.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

One correction. The email data is stored in the BCM database when it is
linked to a BCM Contact. When an email is linked to a BCM Contact the
ID of the Outlook email and the ID of the email data stored in the
database are linked to the Contact.

When you double-click on an email in a Contact history, BCM has two IDs
associated with that email, the Outlook ID and the BCM ID. BCM first
asks Outlook to open the item with the Outlook ID, if that fails, BCM
then displays the data linked to the BCM ID.

The same pattern is used with Outlook Calendar and Task items added to
a Contact's history.

So, in your example below, Anna's co-workers should always have access
to the email's BCM data, irrespective of whether Anna deleted the email
in Outlook.

I think there may be another factor to consider. If the ID of the email
in Outlook, is actually an Exchange ID, then the co-workers may access
to the original email, but I'm just speculating here.
