email spell checker

When I try to spell check my email it says I dont have a
checker installed. Yet I have Works on this computer and
the spell checker works fine when using that program. How
can I get email to use that spell checker?

Greetings --

You haven't specified your email client application, but I'll
guess that you use Outlook Express.

Outlook Express, as you've discovered, has no spell-checking
capabilities of its own. Instead, it relies upon the presence of
other Microsoft applications, such as the Office Suite, Word, or the
Works _Suite_ (which includes Word, not the regular Works). There are
also some 3rd-party shareware/freeware solutions available at any of
the many shareware sites on the Internet

Spell Magic seems well thought-of, though I haven't tried it myself:
