Email images

I have just started using Vista Mail after coming over from XP and Express.
Whenever I get an email that has graphics,like from Canon or Lands End, I
only get the text and no pictures. I am only using Windows Firewall and
Avast Home Edition with no email scanning. What setting am I missing? I have
mail set to NOT block images in HTML.

Two options, the first is how I operate.

View the message>hit the key combo Alt, V, H. move on.

Or tools menu>options>read tab>disable "read all messages in plain text" you
get the crap each time an idiot sends in rich text (HTML).
