Email auto fill

Hi to all,
I'm working in an organization which we have both the Global Address Book for all the employees Email addresses and each one has is own Contacts address book.
The auto fill function works only for the Global Address book.
How can i configure the system so the auto fill will work on the private contacts of each station?? (Is it a server configure or a front end one?)

We're working on Office 2003 and Server 2003.

Your question is confusing. Autocompletion does not use address book
information.
Perhaps you should explain what you mean.

I save email adresses in my address book and i want the system to auto recognize them. when i enter the address book (ctrl + shift + B) there are many contact groups under: 'Show name from the:' lists. the organization address book called 'Global address book' is conected to the auto fill func....once i use an address from that list,it will auto fill the next time i'll start writing. Email addresses that aren't listed in that list,but listed on another list (Personal contact list,which i can see in my address book below the Global list) are not being auto fill automaticlly.
thats the problem.

Not much. You need to clarify the method you are using to enter the address
into the To: field. You haven't distinguished between autocompletion and
autoresolution. "Auto fill" has no meaning. It could be either.

Thanks a lot but a got a solution....i refered to addressebook(ctrl+Shift+B)>Tools>Options - Under 'When sending mail list....' i just added the list i wanted and the autocompletion is working....Thanks for the time and the term correction

Good. But for the record, if you're pulling data from one of your Contacts
Folders, you're using autoresolution, not autocompletion. Outlook does both
and it is often difficult to know which you're using. That's why we have to
know the precise method by which you're entering addresses to know which
feature you're actually having trouble with.

Lp12,

Global Address Book is like a contact folder for all clients of the Exchange
Server. The auto fill information is stored on each individual computer in
a file called an NK2 file. This file stores both the individual outgoing
e-mail contacts as they are typed they are "remembered" in this file. The
Global Address info. is stored in this file too.

Do you want all users to have exactly the same information to complete the
autofill or autocomplete with?

We make a utility that will enable one to open, edit, export and save this
autocomplete information, but I'm not certain at this point that it will do
what you want it to, at least not in its current configuration.

Owtlook.

You may write me directly for more information regarding this file and your
requirements.
