Just recently I have not been able to open any email attachments in hotmail.
After I click on the attachment, hotmail checks for viruses and asks if it
should download it. When I click on download, the download screen comes up,
but nothing happens. There is no trasfer rate, file name, or time remaining.
All fields are blank.
Please help.

Hi Leo :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Try clearing the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

Zone Alarm Pro can block Images in IE

1. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level>reset custom
level to Medium or Low
2. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>set the slider to Medium or Low
3. Go to this site and read on adjusting the Privacy settings in ZA. It will
explain how to customize on a per site basis.

Kerio Personal Firewall and any other anti-advertisement software you have
on your system will also do this.

also..

Right click on the graphic you see and a pop up menu should appear. Select
"Show Picture" option.

Then, go to Internet Options>Advanced Tab
Show Pictures - check option if unchecked to display pictures all the time.

Are you using one of those programs that are supposed to speed up your

Hope this helps.
