I asked this question yesterday and got a link to the response but the page
opens blank, nada, zip. My question is: How do I print a hard copy of my
email addresses from my Outlook email contacts?

email addresses from my Outlook email contacts?

One way is to export them to a CSV file and print that from within Excel.

Hi Brian,
I am not sure how to do that. I went to my address book and can't find an
option that allows me to export. I tried highlighting the address book and
right clicking but that didn't work. Tried the file menu and no such animal!
How would I go about doing that? Thanks,
Terry

I am amazed. One, by the cryptic, unhelpful answers and two, by the fact
that MS seems to make it so difficult to use/manipulate/migrate/whatever
information that YOU, the user, have filed away in one of their programs. Is
there anyone out there that can explain in simple, easy to follow steps, how
I print out my email addresses? Export a file as a .csv doesn't work - I get
the names but not the email addreses.

Diane already did so. This is not rocket science. How much more detail do
you need?
1. Create a view that contains the field you want to print. Do you not know
how to create a view of your Contacts. Use the View menu.
2. Print the view.

Re: "MS seems to make it so difficult......"

Using Outlook <Help>: see topic "Print an Address Book" (easily found by
searching for <print email addresses> or just the word <printing> via help
file search. Your exact question/requirement is completely explained
including the various steps that need to be followed for what it is that you
want to print.

(Above is for O'2007 since no Outlook version was specified - ergo topic
name <may> be slightly different in other versions but the information will
still be there)

Re: "Export a file as a .csv doesn't work"

The Outlook export wizard absolutely works exactly as advertised for it's
intended functionality <IF> all the correct steps/selections are made - have
yet to encounter a case where it hasn't once the steps were corrected
(excluding corrupted configurations which doesn't apply in this case since
you are getting the Names)

I wasn't trying to be cryptic - I was wondering if you tried the obvious
method and assumed there was some reason why you were trying to use File,
Export instead of File, Print.
