Pressing F8 during the 'black screen' right after the BIOS screen, will let
you choose "Last Known Good Configuration"

If no help, try "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and run the command to start
'System Restore'

If you see this screen for the first time, reset your compute. If this
screen appear again, folow this steps:

Assure yourself that all new material or software were install correctly.
If it is a new instalation, contact the producer of the software to obtain
the windows' update you need.
If you still have pb, desactivate or suppress all hardware or software newly
installed. Desactivate the option of memory of the bios like the "mise en
cache" or the "ombrage".
If you need to used the no error mode to suppress or desactivate the
composant, reset your computer, press F8 to choose the advanced option of
démarrage then choose no error mode.

technical informations:
*** STOP: 0X000000ED (0X8674A7B8,0XC0000006,0X00000000,0X00000000)

I tried the command prompt, the no-error mode, the debug, last good
configuration but nothing works. When i choose no error mode then the screen

This command, run from the Recovery Console might fix the unmountable error
To open the Recovery Console prompt, you would need to boot to an XP setup
CD.
