Efficient Use of New Hard Disk

A 80GB drive has been installed as a slave to a 13GB master drive in Win XP
HE. What files and or programs can be moved to the new disk to improve
performance? The new drive has been partitioned 5/35/40 GB. Moving image
files to the new drive has been suggested. Are there other suggestions?

Large data files would be an obvious candidate.

You should create a paging (swap) file on the new drive and also leave
a small one on the old C: drive. That will provide the most
efficient operations. I suggest that the one on the new drive be set
to System Managed size and the one on C: be set to 50 mb minimum 200
mb maximum.

Good luck

Just wondering why an 80 gig drive used as a slave would be partitioned
like that, or really, why partitioned at all ?
