I'm Desperate!

I sent an email a couple of weeks ago and forgot to copy it to my boss. Trying to cover my butt, I told him I did copy it to him when I sent it. Now he wants me to forward him my sent email that includes being copied to him.

Is there a way, perhaps with a shareware editing program, to fake it and make it appear that I did actually copy him on the email?

A quick response is greatly appreciated.

In short the answer is no. My advise to you would be just come clean with your boss. Tell him you were sure you had copied him in, but obviously forgot. He might accept that, but covering it up and trying to falsify something could just make the whole thing a hell of a lot worse for you and you could end up loosing your job.

Honesty is the best policy. :thumb:
