Editing Form Design

Beki Goodwin

Forgive me for this question - as I am sure it is something very simple!

Using Access 2007 for the first time and not familiar with the new format
yet (and to be honest was just an amateur anyway!!).

I have created a new database, and form from that database. However, after
creating the form (using Create>Form) I cannot move the fields around etc.
They all seemed fixed in position, but I can't work out if this is a
setting???? I have now re-created the form in Form Design, but though maybe
this is a long way around.

Can I unfix the position of field when the form has been generated by Access?

Thank you advance.

Beki,
A shot in the dark...
A common problem is that the controls may be "grouped"
In form design view, select the controls that you want to ungroup, click
on
the "Arrange" tab, then click on "Remove"
