Edit php pages in FP 2003?

Guest

I have a site built with FP 2003 and I just signed up with Paypal &
oscommerce for an online shopping cart system. I tried to open the php pages
in FP (design mode) and it doesn't appear that I can edit the pages (like
html) in design mode. I see the code but in design mode, it looks like very
condensed, nested tables.

Can someone tell me if it's possible to edit the pages in FP?

Thanks,
Beverly

You need to configure FP to open PHP pages under Options | Configure Editors, however FP does have
some issue with PHP coding syntax/

Thanks. I actually did that already - and that enabled me to even have the
option to open in design view. But what I am seeing in design view isn't
"editable." Is that what you mean by the coding syntax?

I must be doing something wrong b/c I downloaded the free trial version but
the .php pages still look the same when I view them in FP Preview. Any ideas?

Thanks.
