Hello!

Running a NVIDIA NForce platform with Windows 2000 SP4. I'm pretty sure I
didn't have this problem before with the same machine, but here it goes...

When I have the MIC not muted any sound is played back through the speakers.
I have to keep MIC mute all the time, but that's not good when I want to use
it for team playing or simply with SIP Soft phones...

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Try this: Open volume control-->settings-->properties--
select recording, click then OK. After that move all
other sliders to bottom, except microphone, also make sure
that only the microphone is checked. I'm not 100% sure
about translations because I have finnish version.

Thanks it worked... The Mic was select in Playback as well and I muted it -
then on recording I've changed it to be only one selected.

Ciao!
