E-mail Links in IE6 do not bring up Outlook

When I find a "contact" link on a web page, it is suppose to bring up an
e-mail in Outlook. I have Outlook set as my e-mail client.
But when I left click on any e-mail link, instead of bringing up a new
e-mail message in Outlook, it tries to bring up a new webpate send
mailto:"email address here" and then it brings up about 50 or so browser
pages with "Action canceled"

That might be a problem with the "mailto" file association:
