e-mail hangs in outbox outlook 2003

When I send an e-mail in outlook 2003 it hangs in my outbox. It just started
doing it all of a sudden. It doesn't leave the outbox until I click on
another folder in my mailbox.

Please help.

What did you change since "all of a sudden"?

I noticed it, right after I updated my NIC drivers. But, I rolled them back
and it didn't fix it. Its an Exchange 2000 e-mail account. When I send it,
it seems to go to the recipient but the outbox still shows as it being in the
outbox. I tried recreating my e-mail profile, I've uninstalled Office and
reinstalled it, and that didn't work. When I use someone else's computer it
doesn't hang in the outbox. No one else has complained of this either.

Make sure your firewall solution isn't blocking UDP packets for Outlook.

Good call. It was my Stateful Firewall on my Cisco VPN client.
