E-mail disappearing

After reading my e-mail I X out to return to my inbox and the e-mail that I
was reading disappears. It does not stay in my inbox or deleted e-mail - it
is just gone. Before when I X out to return to my inbox the e-mail that I
was reading was back in my inbox until I deleted it. This problem started
about 3 weeks ago. Please Help!!!

First off, you should post this question to a newsgroup that pertains to
whatever program you use to read your email.

That said, if you're using Outlook Express,check under the View menu at the
top of the window. Make sure for Current View you haven't selected "Hide
read messages".

It sounds like in Options, you have your email set to "mark as read"
after reading an email. You can change that setting.
Also, View, Current View, Show All Messages should bring back to view
all of your read messages.
