e-mail deletion

It seems on my outlook 2002 I click on an e-mail to read it and when I click
on the next one or move to another folder the e-mail I was reading is
automatically and totally removed. Not just moved to the Deleted Items
folder, but completely gone. It is auto deleting when I move off that
specific e-mail. Can any one help me?

The most likely cause is that you have the "Unread messages" view selected.
View>Current View>Messages.
