Hi,
I have Windows XP Pro running with SP2. I have a router and have configured
DynDNS. One of the rules on my router forwards all traffic on TCP/IP port 445
to my WinXP SP2 box, but only from my work IP address.
When I try using:
\\myDynDNSname.selfip.com\c$
it doesn't work (but it used to, before I re-installed Windows).
If I use:
\\123.123.123.123\c$
it does work.
Before I re-installed Windows (many moons ago) I recall making a registry
change so that my Windows XP box could be accessed using DynDNS name in UNC.
I can no longer remember where/what this registry entry is. PLEASE HELP!
Thanks
