dxdiag direct3d

I have AsRock Prescott 800 Via P4 VT8237 chipset motherboard and Gefore4 MX
4000 8x video card, CPU 2.6 GHz ,RAM 256 MB DDR .
the problem i have when run Start->Run->dxdiag

and click Test Direct3D a white screen is displayed , did this more than one
time with same result, and unplug the video card and test it on other machine
works perfectly.......what could be probably the problem in this case?

Try reinstalling-upgrading DirectX.
