Dwwin.exe DLL Error on Shutdown

When I shutdown my Windows XP machine, I get an error
message that says "dwwin.exe dll failed to initialize
because the program is shutting down." This happens every
time, and sometimes it hangs my machine and doesn't allow
it to shutdown. I think it has to do with Windows' Dr.
Watson utility, but I'm not sure what to do about it.
Anyone have any advice?

Howdy,

I had the same error with my Gravis Game Pad Pro Software
installed. I just simply unistalled the software and used
the windows drivers instead...never really used the extra
features of the software anyway.

If you have a Gravis game pad, this may be one cause.
