DVD slide show from jpg files

Hello, All!

Anyone know of a freeware package that will allow creating a slide show from
digital pictures including burning a DVD disk that will "play" as a slide
show when placed in any DVD player attached to a TV?

Not exactly what you want, but maybe also an option for you:
Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) has the option to create a slideshow from
pictures and burn it to a VCD, which will play in a DVD-player.

Yes, but it requires Nero, which is not freeware.

I stand corrected. I made a VCD like that about a year ago on my dads
system, and a copy of Nero came with the burner used.
I thought it would work with any burning software, but apparently it
doesn't. My apologies.

Not a problem here since I have Nero. I will look at irfanview and see how
it does this.
