dvd can't burn

everytime i insert my dvd in to burn, it says "0" free space, "0"
available space. why is this so and how can i burn my dvd? does anyone
know?

WinXP does not have the ability to burn DVDs. Whatever software you bought
to do it - ask those tech support people.
