Duplicate items in "Action" dialogue box

Hi,

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2. I've noticed a small oddity when inserting a
disc into the DVD RAM drive. The "Choose Action" dialogue box comes up as
usual, but there is one entry which is duplicate. The list looks something
like this:

Browse DVD with Windows Explorer
Play DVD with Windows Media Player
Play DVD with Power DVD
Play DVD with Power DVD
Take no action

Notice the duplicate Power DVD entry. The same thing happens when I press
the scan button on my scanner. The HP ScanJet Utility is listed twice. Why
are some applications listed twice? And how can I remove the redundant
entry? Thanks in advance.
