duplicate emails in other than "inbox" folder

some of the senders from whom i receive emails are
causing the emails to be received by me twice in rapid
succession. it only happens in other than my inbox, and
only from certain addresses (different domains, though).
also, the emails are not appearing twice on the server if
i go directly to earthlink and use their web mail feature
to look at them first.

i do have norton a v checking my incoming emails, but it
only happens with certain senders, and only in outlook
2002 part of office xp, it does not happen at home on my
windows 98 system running outlook express.

Do you have rules setup to move messages from these senders? Add a stop
processing to the rule.
