Duplicate Contact in address book

I have a little problem with ms office 2003. When I click the address book
icon I recieve a warning with a message window saying" The address list
could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address
list could not be opened; it may have been moved or deleted, or you do not
have permission. For information on how to remove this folder from Outlook
Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook Help.". I click OK and a blank
address book comes up.Now when I click on "show names from the:" A drop down
window opens with a list of 2 contacts, when I high light the second contact
name all my contacts are there. Boy is this frustrating. Has anyone had this
happen to them and been able to resolve it. Please help.
