Hi there,
I've been with this problem form quite some time and is extremely
annoying. I just cannot figure out how to deal with it. If somebody can
give me a hand with it, I'd appreciate it.
Whenever I establish a DUN connection, be it DialUp or VPN,
whatever the target is, it connects sucessfully, but after a very short
time, seomtimes a minute, sometimes a few minutes, but never more than
10 minutes, it disconnects on its own, just as if I had disconnecte
dit. No error message, and no reconnection is done.
I almost never use dialup, so fomr quite some time I thought it was
my VPN server.
But a few weeks ago, during a trip I found that it was ANY VPN and
ANY DUN as well.
I have Windows XP Pro SP 2
Here you have an example of the issue:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: RemoteAccess
Event Category: None

Time: 16:42:34
User: N/A
Computer: MICHELLE
Description:
The user admin successfully established a connection to VPN Cueva DW
using the device VPN6-1.

Event Category: None
Event ID: 20159

Time: 16:42:47
User: N/A
Computer: MICHELLE
Description:
The connection to VPN Cueva DW made by user admin using device VPN6-1
was disconnected.
Somewhere I found that ICS/ICF could be the cause, so I tried
disabling it, but that produced no change at all.
Any ideas is gladly welcomed.
Thanks in advance!!
Javier
