Dual Monitor Support Help!

I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 laptop with XP Home, Intel 82845 Graphics card in
a notebook and I need to know how to configure it for Dual Monitor Support.
Please help me thanks.

I don't think you can do more than clone the display to an external
monitor....

Hello,

Go to start-control panel- you should have there an icon saying Intel
Extreme Graphics- then you'll get a Controller Properties where you can
select what type you want "Monitor", "Notebook", "Dual Display Clone" or i
think something like "Expanded ..." if you have an external monitor and the
laptop opened you should be able to select what you want... don't forget if
you don't have the external monitor connected to connect it.

You can "stretch" the Windows desktop so that programs can be running on one
monitor and have something else on the second. You would need to have a
second monitor port on the video card. If you do not have one, then you
would need to add a separate video card. If you have an on-board video
card, you may have to disable it in order to add an AGP video card, but this
may "void" your Dell warranty. If you do not have an AGP slot, then you
will have to look for a rare PCI video card.
