dual display

OK...I have a very good 1 year old ATI video card, and have just upgraded
from a traditional 19" flat screen to a new 19" LCD flat panel monitor. I
have had 'cloned display' on my monitor and my TV set for some time.
However, since uninstalling my original monitor and installing my new LCD
monitor, I cannot figure out for the life of me how to do it. I have both my
monitor & my TV enabled...and the desktop appears on both, but when I play
any video (.avi or .mpg), I can only get the video on my TV..the player box
is blank on my monitor. I hope I'm making sense! How on earth did I do it
to begin with?

Right-click your desktop. A menu appears. Click Properties on the menu.
Select the Settings tab. Manage and configure monitors accordingly.

HTH.

PS: BTW, you can do the same thing with 2 video cards...

Is there a seeting for layewr overlay or something like that? I had the same
problem... Would sohw on the TV but the monitor was black. Set it for video
overlay and things worked fine.
