Dual Boot

I am thinking of adding Win 2k as a dual boot with Win Me, each in their own
partition.

My questions are will I end up with two Outlook Expresses? I have
SystemSuite and want to know if I have to install it in both partitions to
take advantage of the computer maintenance features of system suite. Also,
do I need to install the firewall and AV on both partitions?

The two OSes will be their own entities, almost to the point where it'd be
the same as having two separate physical computers. So, yes, two separate
everythings. But some things can be shared between the OSes. Go ahead and
do it, and then post to an OE group about how to share your data between the
two OSes.

By far the safest and most robust way of setting up
a dual boot configuration goes like this:

Booting into Windows ME:
- Windows ME OS & apps: drive C:
- Windows 2000 OS & apps: hidden
- Data: drive D:

Booting into Windows 2000:
- Windows ME OS & apps: hidden
- Windows 2000 OS & apps: drive C:
- Data: drive D:

Doing it this way means that there is no interference
between the two operating systems and their applications.
However, because drive D: is always visible, they can
share common data. This opens the door for your OE
files being shared between WinME and Win2000: Simply
locate them on drive D:.

Will SystemSuite let you do this sort of thing?

Sorry, I know nothing about SystemSuite. I use XOSL, which
can do all of this and more. It's free too . . .
