dual boot with upgrade

I have 98 installed on my system and would like to set up a dual boot with
the XP home edition. Can this be done with the upgrade version of XP, or
would I need to purchase a full install version?

If you continue to run Windows 98 separately, then you'll need
the "Full Version" of Windows XP Home Edition.
