I've just downloaded the latests security patches for XP. Wheras previously my dial-up broadband would come up with a connect dialog only when I started IE or Express - it now comes up on boot-up and automatically re-connects if I manually disconnect - I want it to return to the previous behaviour - and there does not appear to be a way to turn this new behaviour off via the IE options. I did a check for any spyware - none found
Is there some new service which I need to turn off via the control panel?
Does anyone have any idea as to which (new?) service is responsible for this or any other suggestions would be gratefully recieved
