DS II MAJOR PROBLEM_ PLEASE HELP!

Dear Anyone
During exciting gameaction in Dungeon Siege II- my computer crashes totally!
Exception detected- cannot find netdtect.dll. I've tried to solve it by
carefully reading some forums and found this on Microsofts supportpages:

It sure does! My problem gets bigger when I read this;
RESOLUTION
The error message described in the "Symptoms" section of this article causes
no damage and can be safely ignored. It does not indicate a program or device
issue, nor do you have to reinstall a program. To continue the installation
of Windows XP SP1, click OK on the error message. When you do this, Setup may
appear to stop responding for a period of 5 to 10 minutes, but then proceeds
as expected to install Windows XP SP1.

Sure sounds nice, but it doesn't help me! My game still crashes! I
understand that this netdetect.dll file is not longer included in windows,
but is there a way to get it anyway? I've also tried to remove dxdiag.exe(the
application wich tries to find the file) to see if it would help, but it
didn't! What can I do? Is there a way to get the file?

Hi Gamer,

Installing Service pack 2 and the latest Driver Updates from the
Windows Update site should ensure you have the latest drivers
for your CNet Pro200WL Fast Ethernet network adapter.
