When I turn off my computer, I get an error message that
says drwtsn32.exe has failed to initialize properly. What
does this mean?

.
DrWatson Postmortem Debugger.
HOW TO: Configure and Use Error Reporting in Windows XP

If a program error occurs, Dr. Watson for Windows starts
automatically. To configure Dr. Watson, follow these
steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type drwtsn32, and then click OK.
By default, the log file created by Dr. Watson is named
Drwtsn32.log and is saved in the following location:
drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINNT\Application
Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson

You can use Windows Explorer to open this log file and
read what problem/program it encountered. Windows
Explorer is located at Start/All Programs/Accessories

If none of these actions work, your drwtsn32.exe is
corrupt and must be replaced.

You can use the Reinstallation CD of WinXP to replace the
file.
