drives vanish in vista

hi.

i successfully install vista, install my programs but after a while my
cd/dvd drives all vanish. I have tried restore, deleting drives and letting
windows find them upon reboot.

Any ideas?

i would be greatful!

sounds like it may be the old upperfilters/lowerfilters problem....

Look it over and determine whether anything in the article pertains to your
