DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Whenever I try to put in my SB Audigy Gamer soundcard,
this blue screen pops up, and I can't start my system.
When I take the soundcard out, the system runs fine. Has
anyone encountered this before? Is it a problem in the
BIOS? Thats what I'm thinking. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

sounds like you need to upgrade your BIOS.If I recall correctly...a
soundcard needs to have an IRQL less then 10 to work properly.Upgrade your
BIOS with the new soundcard installed.

I had this problem at one time but don't recall exactly what I did to
resolve it. That stated I would try the following:

Remove all Sound Blaster software. Restart the computer in safe mode.
Install the SB software.
You might also try moving the Audigy to a different slot.
