drawings lost!

What did I do? I had MSDraw drawings in my doc, but now I only see EMBED
MSDraw.Drawing.8.2 where a drawing should be! How do I get my drawing
back! -Ike

Yes....but now it only shows as an empty, outlined box. If i double click on
the box, I see the drawing...but I cannot seem to get it embedded back into
the doc! -Ike

Tools > options > view > uncheck picture placeholders.
