Drawing Canvas

Well looking through this discussion group regarding the Drawing Canvas
facility, i feel as though i am the only person who likes it. Since
upgrading from 2000 to 2003 it has meant that i can quickly and easily insert
photos into the canvas background without having to resize the photo first in
A.N.Other photo editing package.

However, i do wonder if i can change the default size of the canvas so that
whenever i insert a new canvas it opens in 10.16cm x 13.55cm size???

It seems to me the canvas is useful if you want to do a drawing with multiple
objects and have them behave in the document was one picture without having
to fiddle with grouping, etc. but, for single images, I can't see it doing
anything that you couldn't do with a floating image before.

Shame it's bug when trying to be compatible with docs from previous versions
of Word (see my earlier post).
