No drawing canvas so I can still use the objects for drawing!

I need to turn off the drawing canvas so that I can draw the objects that I
need. I really do not like the idea of the drawing canvas popping up and
displaying everytime I need to create an object. The canvas may be good for
some people but I truly do not need it whenever I am drawing information on
sheets.

Hi Xander

I suspect this question applies to Microsoft Word, so it would be more
appropriate in a Word newsgroup. This newsgroup is for questions about
programming in Microsoft Access, a product for developing database
applications.

However, I can tell you that if you go to Tools>Options and look on the
General tab, you will see an option "Automatically create a drawing canvas
when inserting shapes", which you can turn off.
