drafting under high zoom

I have a nagging problem when I am drawing a figure on Power Point with high
zoom (400%). If I am working on a corner of the figure editing points,
everytiume I make a correction, the view shifts to the center of the object.
I then need to move my way back to the corner I was working on to do the next
adjustment. How can I keep the area of the figure I am working on stationary?

Annoying isn't it? There has been a hotfix released:

Unfortunately, the nature of a hotfix means that it may not work for you -
hope it does
