DpvSetup.exe

when I try to test my sound card from Sounds & Audio Devices in CP, I get
the message Error trying to execute DpvSetup.exe. Error Code 0x80004005,
and it shuts down. The MS Knowledge base article on acceleration does not
help, nor did installing Direct x V9.

go>start\run and type in dxdiag and hit ok. This is a
great tool to help with such things. You in particular
should look at the sound tab. Good luck.
