Dpv.exe error

Hi folks,

I'm getting an error message: errorcode 0x80004005 Directpv.exe. when I try
to check if my mic works.

Then when I click on ok I get this message:
Windows cannot execute DpvSetup .exe use add/remove programs control panel
to install.

Does anybody what the problem can be?
I want to use my mic with skype.

Open Control Panel|double-click Sounds and Audio Devices|On the Voice
tab, under Voice Playback, click Advanced|On the Performance tab, move
the Hardware Acceleration slider at least one position to the right.
