I have removed IE7 B2 and gone back to ie6 - thank God.

However when I right click on a link and save target as only the 1st few kbs
of the file downloads. This happens on every download I try, even
Microsoft's.

Please can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi,
Try the easy steps first...

1. Clear the IE cache. IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files
(and delete offline content when that dialog pops up) It's often recommended
that the TIF folder be kept at about 50-60 MB (Settings.)

2. If Step 1 didn't work, try deleting the Temporary Internet Files folder.
Make sure that you can see hidden files (Folder Options> View) Then
login as another user with administrator privileges, or from the machine's
default administrator account (startup in safe mode) and delete the affected
TIF folder from Windows Explorer. It will be at [C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files]
Set the size of the new TIF folder at 50-60 MB.

Hope this helps,
