Download Files - Unable to download with IE

I'm unable to download files with IE 6.1 SP1. Receive
error message stating "unable to open this internet
site..."; however, when using Netscape, I have no problem
downloading...any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Also i tried to re-install IE 6
sp1 (i downloaded it with Netscape) and i get an error
telling me that "this is not an XP logo approved
application and installation will not continue" ??? Also
tried to download flash player and that dosent work. Also
bizaar is the new roll-up patch keeps showing up in my
critical downloads on the update site although it shows
that it was "Installed sucsessfully" a couple time


Im running Windows XP sp1
AMD +2200
1 gig ram
