I do not know if this is causing a problem, but when I checked this
Discussion group today (14th), and saw Engel's post stating that 1.14.1396.12
was ready for download, I almost started to do another download. But,
because, and ONLY because, I kept reading the rest of the replies to engel's
post, I realized that I already had the newest version of windef.

Not ragging on you engel............just a thought. I do not think it would
have caused a problem on my computer, but it seems folks with other spywares
running, are having a hard time. Perhaps this is why?????

BTW.............my windef is still operating perfectly.............as far as
this Village Idiot knows.

I ALWAYS wondered why the folks who made windows, did not have a complete
anti-spyware program. Who would know the ins and outs of windows better than
its creator???
Keep up the good work MS!!!!

And Bill............my definition version is same as yours, except, of
course, for the time zone thingy......

In the Real World, hardware or software systems often go through two stages
of release testing: Alpha (in-house) and Beta (out-house?). Beta releases are
generally made to a group of lucky (or unlucky) trusted customers.
