Double entries in Outlook tasks

I am getting double entries everytime I enter a task. Any suggestions on how
to correct this? If I delete one of the entries, both dissapear.

In which folder view are you?
For instance; By Category shows the task multiple times; for each category
that it is in.

I get double entries no matter what view I am in. Here is what I am doing. I
first select task from the far left of outlook. The options are: Mail,
Calendar, Contacts, Tasks. I then enter my task in the to do list. No matter
what I enter it shows up twice. So if say "call Mom" as my task. I'll get two
"cal moms." If I delete one of the call moms they both dissappear.
