Don't want Outlook as default, need Eudora

Hello,

Ever since installing Outlook 2003 as part of SBS 2K3 I have a message at
boot of my client machine.
It says "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office Outlook
and set it as the default".
This is fine and dandy but I do not want Outlook to be my default! I want
Eudora.
I only use Outlook for checking my exchange server which is rarely used.

If I do open Outlook then it always sets itself as the default email program
in IE without asking me!
I then go into IE and set the default back to Eudora but then every time I
reboot, it gives me the above warning message.

How can I stop this warning message when Outlook is not the default and also
how can I make Outlook stop registering itself as the default when I do need
to use it?

Thanks,
Adam
