? Making Outlook default email?

R

rjboney

When I go into Outlook 2007 or try to send a email from Internet Explorer I
get this popup message.

Microsoft Office Outlook

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot
fulfill the messaging request. Please run
microsoft Office Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

I have tried to set Outlook as the default but I quess I am missing
something. I went in Outlook to Tools, Options, Other, then clicked to make
Outlook the default email.
I am running this on a Dell laptop running Microsoft Vista and Microsoft
Office Pro 2007.
Does any one know how I can fix this problem?

Thanks

Also in IE, click Tools>Internet Options>Programs and check the "E-mail"
drop-down.
