Dear PapaJohn,
Calling from Belgium, using my best possible English,
being 54, I just feel with MM like a 7 - 8 y.o. boy)
I just bought my Sony TRV250EPAL Digital Handycap/m. I am
now busy with my first steps in MM.1.1 (still) I have
just been recording and putting together my 115 video
clips. The video sequence is ready but not yet recorded
together. I don't know how to put some sound on my clips
from my 4 audio CD (1st cd in my CD reader)and assign
them to the appropriate clips. (ex.: 1st song going to
the first 8 clips - 2nd song to the next 14 clips ; 3rd
to 11 clips, then 2nd CD & a.s.o). Thanks to show me the
way. I guess after putting the music on the clips I'll
have to register the video+audio sequence, and find ways
(?) to burn this sequence on one or 2 CDs ? Alternately,
are there any possibilities to drop the all stuff on a
PAL - VHS cassette. Thanks for your most appreciated
guidance. Have an excellent Day. Didier Vallee

Hi Didier

You don't assign audio clips to video clips.... you position them over them... in the timeline view of your project, drag your audio clips to the Audio/Music track and trim them as needed to align them with the video clips. Unlike video clips, which don't allow spaces between them, the audio/music clips can be positioned wherever you want them... besides trimming the audio clips, you can overlap them so they fade nicely from one piece to the next

You have to copy the audio from your CD to your computer before using them in Movie Maker.... use Windows Media Player and copy them to WMA files

Sounds like you want to watch your movie(s) on TV.... so you'll need to use other software to burn discs (see the CD and DVD sections of my website). If you have DV-In enabled on your camcorder, saving the movie as a DV-AVI file and then copying it to your camcorder will let you copy it from there to a VHS tape

Thanks for your efforts at English. It comes across well
