i have installed "genius" usb pen tablet [with drivers] and it allready
works as mouse as well.
but on every power on xp "founds new hardware - hid mouse" asking for his
wizzard to copy "mouhid.sys" either
- automatically [recomanded], or
- from specific location [advanced]

but i don't want neither! device is allready working perfectly and i just
want to tell xp:
"don't ask me EVER more about this hw"

is there some option to inhibit this particular hw installation, since it is
in reality allready installed and working well?
besides, software cd supplies with table doesn't contain any "mouhid.sys"
[or its compresed variant]

thnx!

Well you could point the install to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers . If you
don't have mouhid.sys already, then you need it. Contact the input device
manufacturer support. I would install the device drivers anyway - get the
latest at the manufacturer's download site.
